With family and friends on hand, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz tied the knot on Saturday evening during a intimate, private ceremony.
“We’re delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends,” a spokesperson told People.
Reports from the wedding tell that the guest list included Ashlee’s big sister Jessica Simpson and her boyfriend, Tony Romo, along with engaged Hollywood couple Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.
For the big day, the “Pieces of Me” singer wore “an ivory lace wedding gown by Monique Lhuillier accessorized with a diamond necklace and earrings by Neil Lane.”
And to add even more buzz to the evening, Ashlee “officially revealed her pregnancy to everyone at her wedding reception,” reports OK! magazine.
Celebrating her one-year wedding anniversary with her husband locked up in jail, Amy Winehouse was surprised on Sunday morning when she received a large delivery of flowers at her doorstep.
In the recent past, the Rehab singer has been said to be considering a divorce from Blake Fielder-Civil, but more recent reports claim that Winehouse is now telling friends that she wants to renew her vows upon her hubby’s release.
A source told the Sunday Mirror: “Amy and Blake are more determined than ever to show the world they are together. As soon as he is out they will be renewing their wedding vows - they want to put two fingers up to those who want them apart.”
The insider added: “They want another wedding, a family and are even planning to set up a business together.”

This made one of George W. Bush’s twin daughters the first daughter of a sitting United States president to exchange vows in 16 years.
The down-home setting was a lakeside ceremony at President Bush’s secluded 1,600-acre Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas.
Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell of Houston, Texas, presided over the ceremony before a four-foot limestone cross and altar - the president’s idea for the event - which will stand as a permanent landmark on the Bushes’ property.
“This is a joyous occasion for our family, as we celebrate the life ahead of Jenna and her husband, Henry,” the president said.
“It’s also a special time for Laura, who this Mother’s Day weekend will watch a young woman we raised together walk down the aisle.”
A source at the ranch said that the president alone, in traditional style, was escorting the bride to the altar. A White House spokeswoman said she did not know if Jenna Bush planned to take the name of Henry Hager.
We know, not exactly breaking news here. But a new book from a former manager alleges that a groggy O.J. Simpson, high on marijuana, confessed to double murder.
Mike Gilbert, a memorabilia dealer, also claims that he helped his former friend wiggle out of the murder charges by suggesting how to bloat his hands so they wouldn’t fit the notorious bloody gloves.
Gilbert’s book, How I Helped O.J. Get Away With Murder: The Shocking Inside Story of Violence, Loyalty, Regret and Remorse, is due in stores Monday.
He said Simpson smoked pot and taken a sleeping pill and was drinking beer when he confided at his home in Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighborhood weeks after his trial what happened that infamous night of June 12, 1994.

Audrina Patridge of The Hills, is set to make her film debut in Into the Blue 2, a sequel to a 2005 movie no one saw but apparently starred Jessica Alba. Who knew?!
The sequel, which won’t star Alba, is about a married couple (Chris Carmack of The OC quasi-fame and Laura Vandervoort of Smallville) who are hired as professional divers to search for Christoper Columbus’ hidden treasure.
That’s until they learn about their employer’s hidden agenda. Oooooooh.
In the film, Audrina Patridge will play “a no-nonsense, beautiful beach babe” with a boyfriend who “caters to her every command,” the Hollywood Reporter says.
That should be a nice contrast to real life, in which she plays a beautiful beach babe with a boyfriend who smells bad and never caters to her needs at all.

Now that Britney Spears is on the road to getting her life back together, she’s enjoying the benefits of seeing her kids more, and as a result, seeing more of her ex-husband Kevin Federline. And according to K-Fed’s law man Mark Vincent Kaplan, there could be a friendship sparking.
During an appearance on the Today show, Kaplan shed some light on the potentially-friendly arrangement between the “Gimme More” singer and her ex.
He said, “If you’re going to have two parents participate in the lives of raising their children, there has to be some camaraderie between them for that to be a meaningful expectation and reality.”
And Kaplan says that the new arrangement will afford them the opportunity to become close again. “When you go from where things were, when there was no visitation, to where they are now, there will be some contact … there’d be some ability to exchange a camaraderie that is necessary and a function of co-parenting together.”
With the season finale of The Hills airing on Monday night (May 12), Lauren Conrad kept herself busy running errands in praparation of the evening’s festivities.
Wearing a buttondown blue top with jeans and sandals, the 22-year-old Laguna Beach native was spotted out picking up some dry cleaning from the local tailor.
After grabbing her cleaned up duds, LC then ventured on over to Bristol Farm’s market before hopping in her car and speeding away from the trailing paparazzi.

Press reports tell that the “event will showcase the final three episodes of the season, as well as a live performance by R&B artist, Usher, who will sing his smash hit, Love in this Club.”
Reports indicate Amy Winehouse has been arrested in London on suspicion of drug offenses.
Scotland Yard said it has to do with a video they received of Winehouse. Last January, pictures from the video of Winehouse allegedly smoking crack was published by The Sun. Scotland Yard released this statement:
“Around 1pm today a 24-year-old women from the Camden area attended a London police station by arrangement and was arrested in connection with the alleged possession of a controlled drug. She remains in custody.”
That’s the word around town anyway. Actress/philanthropist/ mother to many Angelina Jolie is reportedly knocked up with twin daughters. Angelina is due in July, and a source says that the family is thrilled to be having two more girls.
“Brad can’t wait — he absolutely adores little girls,” says a source. “And Angelina just loves seeing him and the other kids so excited and happy.”
The family is currently lounging about in France, and possibly looking for properties to buy. Not all is peachy keen with Angie, though. She’s reportedly been having some difficulties with her pregnancy. She allegedly recently had a fainting incident.
“Angie got out of bed and was halfway across the room when she passed out and fell,” says the source. “Brad heard her hit the floor — hard — and he rushed to her side. She came around pretty quickly, and the medical team that has been traveling with her, a doctor and a nurse, got her back into bed and started checking her vitals.”
Angie was reportedly fine if you’re believing this story. She probably passed out because she realized she’s going to be Mom to six kids and jesus christ, that’s a lot.
Considering the fairly random people that have voiced their opinion on Miley Cyrus’ recent rash of racy photos - from Bill O’Reilly to Joe Jonas - it’s nice to hear from someone a bit closer to the situation for a change.
Annie Leibovitz is the woman behind the controversial Vanity Fair photograph that depicts Cyrus topless, albeit covered by a blanket; and she says the image “simple” and “beautiful.”
“I’m sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted,” Leibovitz said in a statement issued Monday. “Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful.”
It’s also inappropriate for a 15-year old Disney star. But that’s something Miley’s parents and handlers should have been aware of long before this scandal spiraled out of control. Unless…
