The controversial Vanity Fair photos, for which Miley Cyrus has already apologized for, have been released online.
In the accompanying interview to the magazine shoot, the young singer explained her decision to pose topless, albeit with a blanket covering her body:
“I had a big blanket on. And I thought, This looks pretty, and really natural. I think it’s really artsy. [And] it wasn’t in a skanky way.… And you can’t say no to [photographer Annie Leibovitz]. She’s so cute. She gets this puppy-dog look and you’re like, O.K.”
Is the infamous picture skanky, Miley? No. But is it inappropriate for a 15-year old? Yes. You and your family should have known better.
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at a series of the Vanity Fair pics in question.
Earlier this afternoon, Britney Spears’ parents paid her a visit after spending time at K-Fed’s house, showing up just before 1 pm and staying until a little past 6 pm.
Diagnosed as a sever bipolar patient, it looks like the troubled pop tart has found herself a temporary home in the UCLA Medical Center.
According to the latest reports, sometime very soon it’s expected that papers will be signed extending Britney’s involuntary stay at the psych ward by two weeks.
Meanwhile, during any of these holds, “a patient-rights advocate and a court representative will interview Ms. Spears to find out if she objects to being held against her will.”
So, if Britney decides she wants to leave, she can set court hearings in motion just by saying that she doesn’t want to be there anymore.
Well, Kevin Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, finally got what he wanted from Britney Spears… kind of.
The “Gimme More” singer showed up at his office earlier today, 90 minutes late for the (fifth) rescheduled deposition session. And not long after she arrived, Brit left.
On paparazzo asked Kaplan if he got all the information he was looking for. He glibly replied, “In 14 minutes? I would’ve preferred it had gone on longer.”
And apparently the troubled singer wasn’t too thrilled with how she was treated. When asked if Kaplan was nice to her, she shouted, “NO!”
The intense deposition could have gone many different ways. According to a legal expert, “A deposition can be emotionally draining, because Kevin’s lawyer can ask very personal questions about her relationship with her kids – and she’ll be under oath.”
It is believed that Kaplan asked the “Piece of Me” singer detailed questions about her history of drug use, and her lack of modesty in the presence of her sons Jayden James and Sean Preston.
While Kaplan is well within his legal rights to seek a sanction against Britney for being late, it is unclear whether or not he will. However, there is reportedly another deposition scheduled, though its date is not being disclosed at this time.
