Debbie Rowe has thrown down the gauntlet and plans to seek custody of Michael Jr. and Paris who she maintains are her biological children. NBC Los Angeles reports:

“I want my children,” Rowe said during a 90-minute phone conversation Thursday morning with NBCLA’s Chuck Henry.
She said she would seek a restraining order to keep Jackson’s father, Joe Jackson, away from the children. The agreement does allow for visitation, but Rowe said it’s a very difficult process. She said if she misses a visitation date, it is difficult to reschedule with the Jacksons.
“I am stepping up,” Rowe said. “I have to.”
Rowe said she was still grieving. She said she decided she had to seek custody after Jackson’s death.
“We had an agreement… he didn’t keep his end,” Rowe said, referring to Jackson’s death.
Rowe said she was concerned about splitting up the children. She said she did not expect the court to grant custody of the third child, but added that she would be willing to accept custody.

Okay, I understand Debbie wants to be with her children, but she’s overreacting a little bit over Joe Jackson. I mean, once you look past the facial mutilation and pedophilia, Michael Jackson grew up to be one of the most influential musicians of a generation. Who died at 50 from a fatal addiction to medication specifically reserved for knocking out people for surgery. But, again, besides that stuff…

Enjoying an evening out on the town, Kate Moss was spotted at the launch party for ‘Beth Ditto at Evans’ held at Sketch in London on Wednesday (July 1).

Joined by her man, Jamie Hince, the catwalk queen was clad in a sexy black ensemble as she flashed her undies for paparazzi while hopping in and out of her chauffeured ride.

In related news, rumor has it that Kate and her rock star boyfriend are engaged – as the supermodel was seen wearing an expensive looking diamond wedding band on her ring finger while in Paris, France.

“Kate and Jamie looked totally loved-up. Jamie took her to the trendy La Maison Du Caviar restaurant for a romantic lunch,” a source said.

Earlier in the year, Jamie made hints that he may engage soon, saying, “I want to marry Kate. She’s all I want. She’s all I need.”

When Kate’s friends saw the ring, she was very private. “People kept noticing the ring on her engagement finger but she didn’t say anything,” told a source.

As the Jackson family struggles to cope with the loss of singer Michael Jackson, they’ve almost come to a consensus on the burial arrangements of the late icon.

According to a report, the “Beat It” hitmaker’s funeral will be scheduled for sometime next week, with Los Angeles’ Staples Center as a possible location for the ceremony.

A spokesperson for the Jackson family told press, “Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland.”

The rep continued, “Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly.”

Standing up for what she believes in, MTV’s Tila Tequila has told President Barack Obama that he needs to repeal the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy on gays.

In a blog that Tequila wrote, she tells the story of Dan Choi, “a hero to many of us in the human rights movement,” who was kicked out of the Army after publically announcing that he was homosexual.

“Being an openly bisexual woman myself and having a lot of close gay friends, I have always HATED that policy,” Tila tells.

The legislation was instituted by former president, Bill Clinton, in a compromise over his position on gays in the military - which satisfied few on either side of the issue.

Tequila has made the scene looking sexy for photo shoots for Stuff and Maxim and was Playboy’s first Asian Cyber Girl of the Month. She also managed to set the record on MySpace for having the most friends. The bisexual entertainer was on MTV’s “A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila” and gave men and women the chance to win her heart over.

“We are here, we are queer, and it’s about time that the military gets used to it!!!  Discrimination is so 2000,” she wrote.

“And if the President doesn’t listen, he’ll feel the wrath of 3,833,688 of Tequila’s closest MySpace friends!”

With plenty of heartfelt moments keeping things interesting, the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards have named this year’s winners - with Kate Winslet, Mickey Rourke and “Slumdog Millionaires” taking home the show’s top prizes.

The night saw its most emotional moment when the late Heath Ledger was named as this year’s Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture.

Of the posthumous award, “Dark Knight” director Christopher Nolan accepted the award saying that he was doing so with “a mixture of sadness and incredible pride.”

Making progress in the tragic murders of Jennifer Hudson’s family members, William Balfour has been arrested on charges stemming from the October 24th shooting deaths of Jennifer’s mother, brother and young nephew.

According to breaking reports, Balfour, who is the estranged husband of Hudson’s sister, Julia, has been incarcerated at an Illinois correctional facility for violating terms of his parole stemming from a 1999 conviction for attempted murder.

Now that he’s been named as the defendant in the Hudson family murders, the 27-year-old has been transferred to Chicago police custody after being served a warrant for his arrest. After being transported to the Wentworth Area, Balfour will now be held until official charges are approved by the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office.

As for Miss Hudson, Vogue editor Andre Leon Talley told Us magazine, “She is doing very, very well. She’s very strong. I think that she has such strength. There’s so much strength within her that she’s going to be okay. The message that she sent to me is that she appreciates all the messages of love that come from all the fans.”

While she may be best known for her “Harry Potter” films, Emma Watson would rather be known for something else - her mind.

The British babe has been gearing up to go back to school as of late, and it seems she has her eye on several schools, such as Harvard and Yale, in the prestigious Ivy League.

A student at Yale (located in New Haven) reported that Miss Watson’s visit had quite the effect on the student body, causing a bit of stir.

“Everyone just got out their phones and started calling people. There was kind of a … little buzz around, everyone was like, ‘Oh my God, it’s Emma Watson,’ but no one went up to her.”

Doing her part to help make the world a better place, Angelina Jolie was out speaking during a symposium on international law and justice at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York City on Friday (October 17).

During the course of her busy day, Miss Jolie has also announced that she’s “teaming up with Microsoft Corp., law firms and corporate law departments to create a legal system for children of parents involved in U.S. immigration proceedings.”

Of the new initiative, AP reports tell that “The Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) will provide pro bono legal defense for unaccompanied children.”

Explaining that the U.S. provides no legal help for the children of parents entangled in immigration court proceedings, Angelina tells, “These children often have nothing; no money, no support and no family, yet they come to America seeking its promises of a better life. But many end up becoming lost, traumatized, and ultimately forgotten.”

She was one of the longest-reigning queens of prime time television, playing the role of Rachel Green on “Friends.” And it sounds like Jennifer Aniston is returning to the small screen this fall season.

According to her rep, Steven Huvane, the “Rumor Has It” actress will be guest starring on NBC’s hit comedy “30 Rock.” He told press, “She is shooting now. We are not giving out any specifics on her character.

The “Good Girl” actress is no stranger to guest spots on tv series, as she’s appeared on both “Dirt” and “South Park” in the past.

And now that she’s single again (Jen and John Mayer split earlier this month) it looks like Miss Aniston will have even more time to concentrate on her acting career.

Mitch Winehouse should work in politics.

Hours after daughter Amy punched a wall and burst into tears during her latest drug-fueled rampage, Mitch spoke to reporters and said:

“Amy is doing fine.”

He says it with such conviction, as if he actually believes it. Mitch Winehouse might as well be named White House Press Secretary!

The wild-eyed Amy caused her fist to bleed heavily after one of her nails was completely ripped off via glass from a window.

She also lashed out at her own security guards.

And she says she wants kids. Eek.

Amy Winehouse’s face is being ravaged by some skin condition, “impetigo.” And here we thought it was caused by some condition called crack.

After the fist-smashing, she randomly hit the town with Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace. We can only hope the incident was filmed.
